After a long time a new new release on EAR.
This time om Earplus. And for the first time we present DJ Draft. DJ Draft's love for music and dj-ing goes back to 1975, where he started recording music on a tape recorder at the age of 3! In 1992 he started spinning after a few years of collecting records. Living on the east side of The Netherlands, isolated from the trends in the west, he developed his own unique style of dj-ing. First he played clubhouse and garage house music. His style developed itself into Chicago house to relentless hard acid and techno. Later on he started combining Chicago ghetto house, techno and Detroit ghettotech in his mixes. He played in clubs and festivals all over the Netherlands. Banging the parties alongside dj's and producers like Steve Pointdexter, Mark Broom, Acid Junkies, Quazar, Lady Aida, Steve Rachmad and Don Diablo, to name a few. Now in 2008, he is back to where he started: HOUSE! In his sets it's house music in a broad variety of styles. His style is underground house music, but appeals to many people. Where ever Draft plays, there is always a positive vibe on the dance floor. He doesn't matter if a track is old or new, as long as it's got soul and funk! 10 Years ago, Draft started producing tracks with Dash, The Moderator and East Island. He also did a few live shows with these guys. Later on he started producing tracks on his own. His productions are similar to his dj sets: influenced by the old and the new and in a variety of styles. Take it as it comes! This release is a very danceable mixture between Detroit and Chicago. Kicking bassdrums, weird melody loops and of course "the grand old acid"! A kicking and very danceable release from DJ Draft. Enjoy!
